Phil Sussman is currently living in Tampa, Florida after completing a degree in photojournalism at Boston University’s College of Communication. During the summer of 2006 he worked for the Israeli photo agency Flash90 covering daily life in both Israel and the territories of the West Bank. His duties extended also to reporting the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in northern Israel, providing daily photographic coverage of the war through satellite transmission for several daily national newspapers in Israel. Sussman’s work has also been used by prominent news photo agencies such as the Australian Associated Press, European Pressphoto Agency, and the Associated Press, as well as work for the National Press Photographers Magazine, Boston University Agganis Arena, and the Boston Phoenix. As part of his academic program, Sussman is currently learning to produce multimedia projects and becoming skilled at the incorporation of several aspects of media into his photography. He is currently a freelance photographer working in Florida and its surrounding areas.
